Gotta LOVE being forgotten...

Dont you just love when people tell you to hold on that they will be right back?
I do, especially last night when my roomate forgot he had me on hold and I sat with my phone on speaker for three hours waiting for him to come back.
He actually completely forgot I was on the phone, and asked why I was calling him at three in the morning. He called me!
When I explained what happened he asked me why I didnt hang up on him.
My answer: What if you came back and plus I didnt even notice the time going by because I was rewriting poems and working on my book (plus add four pots of coffee to that as well).
Which he totally understood because we did live together for a while.
Im still a lil annoyed that he thought I called him at three in the morning. (its not my fault he called me at 11:45 thinking it was going to be a quick hello-goodbye type of conversation-that never happens with us)
His phone didnt even ring so how is that possible?
I guess is learned that if someone calls you at twelve or later they are most likely to either fall asleep or hang up on you(which he did both).

(So for the record I was on hold from 12:30 to 3:45-thats a long time but he was listening to good music,so it helped with writing.)

    1. When we talked about it last night i asked him if he realized that his phone is a landline.
He just told me that he felt like an idiot because after he thought about it he realised that it never rang and that he woke up with it beside him.(it was close enough to hear his breathing)
but i guess it happens to the best of us.
