Update

Hiya!

I know that I haven't been on here in quite some time. I also know that not many people actually read this blog, so I don't tend to waste a lot of time on here. I will however give you all a quick run down of everything that you may have missed out on. Especially for those who aren't on either of my Facebook profiles.

1.) I have participated in and/or won NaNoWriMo for six years straight now.
2.) I had a book published from my 2013 NaNoWriMo 'competition' that I wasn't aware was published until very recently.
3.) I just had the rewrite of my 2013 NaNoWriMo piece published back in October.

4.) I was finally able to take a trip back home to see my family, and I was finally able to get to see my mom's grave.
5.) After being told my dad had past away (which is a story in itself) I found out for a fact that he is in fact alive and well.

So I guess that now you are all up to date. So if you all want the story about my dad leave a comment and let me know.

Thanksgiving and Christmas! Oh, and drama...

So I got to go see my "family" for thanksgiving day, and it was alright. I spent more time talking to my "little sister" than I did with anyone else. and then had to go to my SO's family thanksgiving too.

Now, don't get me wrong it wasn't that bad since we were only there for like 10 minutes.

Christmas, though, was a whole different Story. My "Mom" told me that they were all going over to her brothers for Christmas, when in fact they went to Tennessee (my home state). My "little sister" got mad at me for not giving her money so she could buy a super expensive furry suit offline.

So instead of spending any time with my "Family" I ended up spending all day at his family's Christmas. It was actually quite fun, we all ate, opened presents, and played games together well into the night. I know that we didn't get home until almost 3 in the morning.

Now here it is Valentines day, and still no one in my family has said a word to me. I got engaged 1/13/17 and there is this petty little silent treatment thing going on now to the point that i had to find out that my little sister was in the hospital twice in two days with a bad case of influenza from Facebook.

New job...eh

So I was asked how I liked my job today after my shift. It was ironic because right before I clocked out I had a couple very angry customers come in. The person who asked me how I was liking my new job was sitting in the lobby during the whole scene, and even made eye contact with me a few times during the the scene.
They got progressively angrier when I was having difficulty answering their questions, even after I explained several times I was New and it was only my second day. When one of the other workers tried to help me make their food they seemed to just loose it completely.
When she went to get the manager and he came to talk to them they seemed to get even angrier, they were yelling profanity directed at me and the other girl who tried to help me, threatening us and the manager, and when they were asked to leave by the manager one of them even turned around to yell at the manager again before finally leaving.

I'm not quite sure how I feel about this job yet, I haven't been here long enough yet.

New job.

I'm not getting all excited about this one, but I start a New job in about 12 hours.
I am going to wait and see how this one goes before I post a whole lot about it.
I honestly don't think that I'm going to like this job all that much, but bills need to be paid.

Nationalist?

I am apparently a nationalist because I want to come up with something original and unique to start a movement to show my fellow people that they aren't alone. I saw a shared (on Facebook) article about a movement in Britain. People would wear safty pins on their clothes to show support for minorities and people in need. This is a great idea, but it's associated with BritEx so that's what it will be known for...this isn't what a movement needs. A movement big enough to tell all minorities,women, and the entirety of the LGBTQ+ community that they aren't alone needs to be completely different, original, and unforgettable.

This doesn't mean that I am a Nationalist. I have little hope for what's left of the country...
